I do not know a hotel which was more friendly and welcoming to the guests than the Camelia - and i visited well over 300. Top breakfast, spotlessly clean rooms, very close to the main attractions of Sintra, 2 minutes from the train station. We are really impressed and can’t understand those clients, who are not giving the maximum points for this property.

How can you summarise the perfect stay?! From the moment we arrived at Ricardo’s beautiful home we felt completely relaxed. Ricardo made us feel incredibly welcome, he clearly loves hosting guests and this shows in each of the lovely little touches he added to our stay, it was beyond hotel quality. The house itself is its own special paradise, with a beautiful pool area and well maintained gardens surrounding. The delicious breakfast provided each day even included fruit and vegetables from his organic garden. Our advice would be to cut your time in Lisbon in half and instead stay twice as long at Ricardo’s and see more of Sintra - you won’t regret it. We look forward to coming back here.

Villa Estefânia is an elegant centenary house that was fully renovated, while still maintaining many of its original features.

Amazing stay in a beautiful, comfortable and well placed accommodation! Room perfectly cleaned and well furnished. Great hosts, very nice and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing: tasty food for all the flavors, from sweet to salty with delicious bread and cakes prepared from the owners!! Obrigado mais uma vez!

Amazing experience. Armie was such a lovely person to meet. Took very good care of us. The garden is also something to see.

Staff was very nice. It way eat more child friendly than expected. Breakfast was exceptionally good, they was even snack - drink available all day, some event with piano and wine lot of little things not expected. I o and they was some cats and Peacock which enhance the stay a bit as well.
