United KingdomThis was an amazing find. Vendome is full of history and character, but has been thoughtfully updated so it has modern comforts. It is tastefully decorated and well located. Above all, the service is exceptional. I made a mistake with my booking and in fact had booked for a week prior to my actual stay. I realised too late. But the very kind people at Vendome accommodated me and allowed me to change the booking. Not many hotels would do this, I think, and it was greatly appreciated. Communication with the hotel was excellent throughout and I got a very friendly welcome when I did arrive. The room is comfortable and charming. I would definitely stay here again.
