They gave us a room upgrade for free as the bigger room was unoccupied. They fixed the hot shower immediately after asking (we were there in the aftermath of the flood disaster). Great value for a luxurious place at 10 mins (scenic!) walking from the center!

Casa Verde Eco Guest House provides free WiFi throughout the house. By far the best accommodation we’ve had in Ecuador! The location of the guest house is the nicest one you can have in Baños, right at the river with a great few on the surrounding nature. It’s just 1.50-2 USD for a taxi from town or a quick walk. The breakfast is definitely the best one we’ve had in Ecuador with fresh juice, fruits, coffee/tea/hot chocolate, croissant bread, empanadas, eggs and cheese/avocado/tomatoes. We had it on the amazing terrace with hammocks every morning and were often visited by humming birds. The style of the furniture of the guest house is very modern and natural with wood everywhere. Our room was spacious, clean and the bed comfortable. The guest house is run by Johan and his lovely mum. Johan is fluent in English and the nicest person you can imagine. He has helped us with organisation of tours, taxis and our flight cancellation. We would definitely stay again if coming back to Baños!

Finca Chamanapamba Guest House has a stunning rural location, boasting an onsite waterfalls, just 4 km from Baños town centre. It offers spectacular mountain views, tropical gardens with BBQ facilities and charming wooden bungalows. We enjoyed the service and great breakfast!!

Spa Hosteria Miramelindo is 150 metres from Pailon Devil Cascade and a 20-minute drive from Tungurahua volcano and Llanganates and Sangay national parks. Great place, totally unique, boutique hotel with paintings and plants everywhere. Spotless room with fireplace. It was a blast. I also used SPA for massage, very relaxing Very helpful staff and great food. Highly recommended.

The bed was super comfortable, shower was hot, was close to restaurants etc, and the breakfast in the morning was lovely.
