Apartments are self-catering (no meals included) and have separate entrances, comfortable living areas with TV and fireplace. Each bedroom has a private shower room with personal toiletries, towels etc. All bedrooms have good storage, excellent beds - fully dressed, tv, hairdryer etc. The fully equipped kitchens have cookers, microwave, dolce gusto coffee machine, all utensils etc and washer-dryers. On arrival you will find tea/coffee, fresh milk, juice, cereals, condiments and homemade brown bread and cake. We stayed in BnB's almost exclusively during our 2 weeks in Ireland and the Buttermilk was hands down the best of all. The room was lovely, breakfast out of this world and easy walk to town.

Great apartment and great hosts. Will definitely recommend.

Safe storage for bicycles is available, and there is a swimming pool and spa just a 2-minute walk away, and historic Kylemore Abbey is 8 km from the guesthouse. Inishbofin Island is 10 km away, accessible by the ferry. Very very roomy, comfortable king size bed, quiet, price very reasonable. No breakfast but coupon given for €10 breakfast at downtown hotel which we used and was very good. Front desk person gave good advice to our questions. On edge of town but 1 km walk to the Station bar.
