Located at the foot of mountains, you can enjoy the impressive view from the room or go hiking for a closer look. The place had been renovated, so all of the rooms were exceptionally well done and clean. The kitchen had every necessity you made need for a proper meal. They also had coffee and tea! The location was beautiful and close to hiking and kayaking. Plus, the dog was extremely sweet and gave me the doggie fix we were looking for. Would highly recommend the place!!

Haukaberg House's offers a bright accommodation featuring blackout curtains and private entrance. The house has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, all with a shower and hairdryer. Good location, very close to Hofn. The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. If you are not too tired and have a few minutes to spare, I recommend you read "The Story of the House" (it had no title, so the name is not real). The owner was more than dedicated when she shared details about both the history of the house and the family, but also small details about Icelandic life. Haukaberg House is one of the places where we would return with the greatest pleasure.
