Yousef gave us a warm welcome and excellent explanation of the city on arrival. While the room was clean and comfortable, it was the food that was a real standout! Every item was so delicious that we ended up returning later in our travels just for dinner. Huge kudos to the chef for outstanding flavours.

Everything about riad Ilyan is perfect ! From the food to the hosts and all of the staff. It was my wife’s and my first trip ever to Morocco and definitely our new mates Moha and Ahmed improved the whole experience. Never got so excited for breakfast ever in my life hahah. My room was spacious + private new bathroom, beautifully decorated, and provided a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring the vibrant streets of the city. One of my favorite aspects was the tranquil courtyard where I enjoyed breakfast each morning. The delicious Moroccan breakfast, complete with fresh bread, pastries, and local fruits, was a fantastic way to start my day. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always available to offer recommendations on local attractions and hidden gems. The location was perfect, nestled in the heart of the medina, allowing me to immerse myself in the local culture while being just a short walk from key attractions. I highly recommend Dar Manzakin to anyone visiting the area. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and hospitality. I can’t wait to return! 😊
