Welcome to Hostal Hansi – Your Cozy Escape in Bocas del Toro!

📍 Located just 50 meters from the docks and a 17-minute walk to El Istmito Beach, Hostal Hansi offers the perfect base to explore the vibrant island life of Isla Colón. It’s a nice hostel just next to the docks in Bocas Town so very convenient location, multiple supermarkets around as well as restaurants and all tour operators. Also the local busses around the main island leave from the street behind. The beds are comfy and rooms spacious. No AC in most of Bocas hostels, we had a ceiling fan that didn’t rotate very fast so it got quite humid at times in the room but we had a little balcony to dry our stuff there. There is a common kitchen with good facilities and first time I see the fridges divided into sections by the room numbers, which was amazing. Another guest though still decided to steal our food (caught on security cameras) but the hostel staff handled it fantastically. We also got an extra blanket when requested and wanted to extend our stay with one more night and that was also immediately arranged for us.

Mosana Reef Garden B&B is set in Bluff Beach, 5 km from Bocas Town and 26 km from Buena Vista. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site.

Some units feature views of the sea or garden. We had a great stay and the food was delicious. The property is a few minutes from the town, in a lovely setting. The hosts worked hard to make a great stay for everyone.

At the guest house, the modern restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and cocktails and serves Argentinian cuisine. We visited Panama for the second time, and once again, we absolutely loved it. While looking for a beautiful place to stay, we came across this little hidden gem 💍– and what a find it was! Arrival & Welcome We were picked up by a private boat and warmly welcomed. The boat ride took around 45 minutes and was truly enjoyable. Along the way, we received interesting information about the surrounding islands – and even spotted dolphins! Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delicious welcome cocktail before our first meal. Such a lovely touch!☀️😍 Room The room was spacious and very comfortable. We’ve seen a lot of bathrooms throughout Panama, and many of them lack a proper shower. But here – the shower was fantastic! Great water pressure and lovely hot water – such a treat. :) Breakfast Breakfast was amazing. The host really listened to our preferences, and I was thrilled to have my fried egg every morning – along with fresh fruit and avocado. A perfect start to the day! Lunch Lunch was absolutely delicious – we had shrimp with coconut rice and plantains. A real taste of local cuisine that felt authentic and lovingly prepared. Dinner The highlight of our meals was definitely pizza night on our last evening! It was such a fun, communal experience with homemade pizza in creative and tasty varieties. So cool – and honestly, unforgettable. Surroundings The water around the property was crystal clear – it felt like swimming in a private aquarium. We saw a small shark, a stingray, colorful fish, and more – all right in front of our room. I’m usually a bit hesitant in the water, but here, I felt completely safe and at ease. The trees, the light, the tranquility – I can’t even describe how beautiful it was. Truly one of my personal highlights – such peace and connection with nature. Activities The hosts’ children were incredibly kind and welcoming.

Each room has a private bathroom with a hot water shower, comfortable beds with canopy mosquito nets, overhead fans and furniture crafted on-site from local materials.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the cost of your stay and the on-site organic gardens supply many of the ingredients for meals. Absolutely incredible, one of the most incredible places. Incredible luxury in the heart of the jungle.

Casa Acuario Boutique Hotel features a private beach area, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Bocas del Toro. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The accommodation provides room service, a concierge service and luggage storage for guests. everything! the house owner Mandy was very helpful in every aspect, very friendly, very attentive, etc. We had a great time while staying there, and the location is paramount to do things in a short time window. I went there with a pregnant wife so that was important for us. The noise of the boats wasn't an issue at all by the way! Hope you guys are doing great!

Free WiFi is accessible to all guests, while selected rooms also offer a terrace. At the guest house, units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Really nice locally owned hostel right by the water :) great chill out area and my stay was made even better by the amazing volunteers who were so amazing and nice!! The hostel is clean and tidy, shared dorm has big lockers and private rooms were very spacious. The Zapatilla tour I booked through the hostel was super fun, we even got to go fishing and caught barracudas. I had a very memorable time in Bastimentos because of this hostel and would highly recommend it to everyone :)

The Casita was so cute, the staff very helpful and friendly 😄😄😄 I will recommend them anytime

You can play darts at Bastimentos Hill Guest House. Staff were super friendly and Enrique was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about things on the island.

El Paso de Almirante is situated in Almirante and offers a shared lounge. The property has city and inner courtyard views. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site.

The units in the guest house are fitted with a TV. Featuring a private bathroom, units at the guest house also boast free WiFi. All units have bed linen. We booked last minute after we missed the last boat to Bocas Town. The room was comfortable and clean. Good AC.

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Garden Rooms is a recently renovated guest house set in Bocas del Toro, 700 metres from Istmito. The property has quiet street views. The guest house features family rooms. Great experience! The place is magic, I ended up extending my stay and changing my plans because I felt at home! I loved the beautiful garden and how quiet the place is! Close to the centre but far enough to enjoy peace and nature. The host and the staff are cheerful and welcoming, always available to help and give you tips to discover the islands. I would definitely come back and recommend to stay here!
