The guest house has an outdoor pool, garden and barbecue facilities. It is very relaxing. Excellent view of the ocean, Boulders Beach can also be seen. It is very close to Boulders beach where you can walk or swim with penguins. The host kindly permitted us to stay an extra half a day because we had an evening flight and no one checked into this room. This was very kind. We went to see penguins once again and had pancakes and coffee in small cafes which were within walking distance. Walking is pleasant - this is a special walkway where you see many nesting penguins right nearby. My husband also likes that there are many hyraxes. The place is far from the center of the town, but if you want to see penguins then it is a very good place. Also, he liked that there is a fridge in the breakfast area where you can take a beer or wine any time (for money). It was a very convenient feature, taking into account that many places close at 5 PM. The electricity went off a few times, but the owner provided a schedule in advance and it was not a problem. Also, provided many candles and solar-powered lamps.

Cape point is a 15-minutes drive away, Cape Town city center 40 minutes, Groot Constantia wine estate 30 km, and the Cape Town International Airport is 45 km from the property. The view from my room. The bathrooms were so clean, kitchen, dining room and sitting room were so spacious. The location is perfect for penguin viewing and easy to find! John was so friendly and helpful :)

A Tuscan Villa Guest House, an exquisite Italian-style villa featuring a stunning spiral staircase and beautiful arches, is just 600 meters from Fish Hoek Beach. The villa boasts six spacious rooms, each with a private bathroom, small fridge, satellite TV, and Wi-Fi. Breakfast was excellent and very nicely presented. The rooms were extremely clean and very well appointed. The beds were super comfortable. Anita is welcoming, helpful, and cheerful. It was a really lovely place to stay. We were there just before the really hot weather but my daughter still found lying in the sun by the pool a treat, particularly coming from Canada in November.

A Boat House has spacious, luxuriously decorated rooms in a nautical theme with soft blue-and-white tones. Each room has a private entrance, a microwave and a tea/coffee maker. All rooms have a balcony where you can enjoy amazing sea views I cannot say enough good things about this property. Location was far enough from town to be private but close enough that I walked to dinner one night. Hosts were just the sweetest people. They allow you privacy but are available and friendly. Clean, comfortable, everything one could need and more. Incredible view. Great value.
