We loved the beautiful design of the property, from the gorgeous restaurant and pool area set amongst lush, tropical plants, to the spacious room with stunning indoor-outdoor bathroom. We also loved dining in which we did most days, as the food was delicious, good value and the ambience sitting on the pagoda area was outstanding. Above all else, we loved the staff - so genuinely friendly and helpful and fun. We can’t recommend this place highly enough.

The hotel is small compared with some other hotels and that is one of the reasons we loved this hotel, we booked 3 rooms and they were absolutely great, very comfortable and very good size too. The grounds and gardens were beautiful and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was very good and although we had to order the night before, the breakfast menu was more than adequate and quite enjoyable, we don't like buffet breakfast so having a la cart breakfast was great.

I highly recommend this hotel. The cottages are located practically right on the beach with a calm ocean. Compared to other parts of the island, the waves here are relatively small, and the water is clean and warm. Additionally, there is a pool with a view of the ocean available for use. The conditions in the cottages are decent, everything is clean, and there is nothing to complain about. The food in the restaurant is excellent, fresh, and of high quality. However, what touched us the most were the people—the entire staff is incredibly friendly. They were very eager to talk with us, sharing stories about the island, local customs, and everyday life. My husband and I have traveled to many places around the world, but we have never formed such a warm and close relationship with the staff as we did at Utama Villas. We will remember our stay for the rest of our lives! We extend our heartfelt thanks and wish the hotel continued success and constant occupancy.

The owner is such a kind and welcoming host. We were here only for 1 night but he made it a memorable one. In the morning he packed us an amazing Balinese breakfast, sang songs for us on his guitar and dropped us with our big suitcases on his bike to the ferry. Peaceful and quiet place around 10min walking from Padang Bai harbour. Everything was super clean; bed and pillows comfortable. Very nice and quiet beach accessible by a less than 10 min walk. Owner and staff very helpful and nice. Absolute value for money accommodation if you want to stay close to Padang bai.
