The house was pristine, everything was clean and in good conditions. The showers and bathrooms were also impecable. The staff was friendly, and very clear with the indications. The location is five minutes by car to Ainokura traditional village, and close to restaurants and shops, very easy to reach from the road. I would definitely stay here again!

The absolute loveliest stay I’ve had in Japan. What a delight the hosts are - Glenda is an absolute gem and the loveliest. She used to tour around Japan as a singer! If you’re lucky enough, you can get her to sing a bit for you. Her husband is an incredibly talented chef and cooked us a huge and wonderful dinner - probably the best food I’ve had in Japan. Strong recommend!

I had an amazing stay! The hosts are absolutely lovely, so friendly and always ready to help with anything. The breakfast was the highlight, so delicious that I ordered it for two consecutive days! This was our highlight of Toyama and possibly all of our Japan trip. The guest house is very comfy and the decor delightfully quirky. Yoko and her husband are beautiful people and I wished we could stay longer. If you are travelling near Toyama, please book here
