Everything! We stayed in the small room attached to the main house; it was perfect for us! The bathroom was sooo beautiful haha it was like an outdoor shower surrounded by rocks (pictures on the listing don’t do it justice!!). The bed was super comfy and the AC worked great! It was so nice to come back to the cool space after a day in the heat. Make sure you keep the bathroom door closed or else the mosquitoes will find their way in! The kitchen we were able to use was great and had everything we needed. Lovely family running the place as well. Location was also really nice, jungle beach is close and there’s a nice restaurant next door. Would definitely recommend!!

These days in the hotel were like at home. We would like to thank Mr. & Mrs Dias and their wonderful daughter Goony for such a warm and friendly welcome. We are vegans, that's why it's tough sometimes to find a place to eat with appropriate options for us. However, in this hotel owners made their best. The food was prepared specially for us according to our needs including plant-based protein, carbohydrates and fresh fruits and vegetables. The food tasted fabulous! Moreover the staff was nice, the room was clean and quite. So we had everything for a great vacation. We really appreciate such high-quality customer service this hotel provided us. Highly recommend this place and we hope to get back someday!

The host is extremely kind and accommodating. Awesome attention! It has really great amenities and a great location. It also has a beautiful, green outdoors area, and the kitchen is a huge bonus. The room was large and comfortable and perfect for working from. I really enjoyed my stay and would 100% recommend.

Chaminda and his family were wonderful hosts at the Rusara Guest House. The property is in an excellent location, right next to the beach and extremely close to restaurants, gym, etc. It is about 10-15 min walk to the Cargills supermarket. The rooms were very nice and clean and the A/C worked well. The property has a small kitchen and fridge that can be used, as well as outdoor table and couches for lounging. You could easily stay here for several months and have everything you need. Would recommend 10/10!

Had a wonderful stay at Weligama Bay House! The place was spotlessly clean, just a minute's walk from the beach. The host was fantastic—friendly and attentive, adding a personal touch to the experience. A perfect balance of comfort and proximity to the ocean. This was definitely the highlight of our trip in Sri Lanka. Ravindu and his family (and two amazing dogs!) were so welcoming, helpful, and so nice about everything. Breakfast everyday was great! Fresh fruits, eggs, and toast. So yum! If we needed extra toilet paper, towels, anything, we just chatted with them and they helped us out by giving it to us. We were having daily protein shakes and the only minor inconvenience for us was that we had no fridge... Ravi and his family let us put anything in their fridge and walfway through our stay, they brought us a mini fridge up in our room. AC was good as well, which was much welcomed when it was super hot and humid. And the two dogs were just the cherry on top. Especially Cal, who was so cuddly and always wanted to play and come for pets. Definitely the best service we've received while travelling in our 3-month backpacking trip all around the world. It made our stay in Sri Lanka even better.
