Everything! We had a very warm welcome despite our hosts being called away for urgent business. The apartment is delightful, very comfortable with a super welcome pack of food and beverages. The location in the heart of the country is excellent with a beautiful view of the mountains. When the sky was clear the skies were so dark we not only saw the Southern Cross but also the Milky Way. We would stay again and are already recommending the accommodation to others.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Kaimai Sunset Bed & Breakfast, and it exceeded all our expectations. As a family of three, we felt incredibly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The charming guest house boasts stunning garden views and a cozy patio, providing a serene atmosphere that immediately put us at ease. Despite being a bit remote, the peaceful surroundings made us feel like we were miles away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Our accommodation was nothing short of exceptional. The air-conditioned guest house featured one bedroom, one bathroom, and all the amenities we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. From the plush bed linen and towels to the well-equipped kitchenette, every detail was thoughtfully curated to ensure our utmost comfort. The terrace with mountain views was the perfect spot to unwind and take in the breathtaking scenery. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious breakfast prepared by our gracious hosts. We were delighted to find a variety of options to choose from, including fresh fruits that were a delightful touch. The hospitality extended to us made us feel truly special, and we couldn't have asked for a better start to our day. Overall, our time at Kaimai Sunset Bed & Breakfast was nothing short of magical. From the warm welcome to the impeccable accommodation and delicious breakfast, every aspect of our stay was simply perfect. The view, tranquillity and the sound of birds first thing in the morning is beyond words. We loved it. The stable is spacious, well equipped and v comfortable. If we had time we would have stayed longer.

Nice clean and quiet place. Has everything we need in the room. Netflix is cool and close the downtown. 24hrs hot water and the shower is strong. Blowing table in in the room, kids were having fun when it is raining and cold out side.

The most comfortable bed we ever had. We love the house it makes us feel nearly like at home. And The locations just walking distance to the town. Definitely recommend this place.

Excellent choice off the beaten track, ideal place to spend four nights visiting the local area. Owner works really hard and is friendly and helpful. Husband also has a good sense of humour. Breakfast provisions were excellent and the surrounding gardens are a real pleasure to wander around and wake up to each morning.

The shower was AMAZING and the property dogs came to say hi which was so sweet. Felt very cozy and safe.

Fabulous location out of city & near river. Beautiful decor & furnishings. Lovely pool. Friendly cat & owners. Gorgeous gardens. Very helpful owners.

Holiday Bliss exceeded our expectations - we arrived tired after a long journey to be greeted by clean, comfortable and stylish accomodation, delicious homemade bread, wine, chocolate ( and so many more thoughtful touches that were much appreciated), plus breakfast ready for us to make and enjoy in the morning. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious. We loved the hot tub and relaxing on the decking in a peaceful and easy to access location, a perfect base for loads of great local attractions and the ideal start to our New Zealand adventure - highly recommended.
