The hostess is incredibly friendly and speaks excellent English, which made communication super smooth and welcoming. She shared lovely stories behind the decor and even gave me great local tips for exploring the lake and nearby cafés. The room was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with little touches that show real care and personality. Waking up to soft music and birdsong, then having tea on the balcony with a view of the lake, was unforgettable.

The best with our stay was the very helpful hostess, who booked tables for us at restaurants (the extremely good vegetarian restaurant – totally amazing!) and went out of her way to make sure we got a Didi in time when we were leaving.

I had such a great time staying at this place! The owner of the apartment is extremely friendly and welcoming, the room is clean and bright, had all necessary equipment, overall felt really comfortable staying here, which is very precious, especially for a solo-traveling woman. The location of the apartment is also very convenient, the neighborhood is pretty nice and quiet, subway station is in a walkable distance and there are a lot of convenient stores and a mall nearby. I would definitely recommend to stay there:)

The clouds and mist in the distance create a misty atmosphere of Jiangnan. This B&B has its own unique breakfast, which makes you feel the local culture and customs. The coffee/black tea is great, I highly recommend it

A very satisfying breakfast with a variety of local dishes. Located near Lingyin Temple so traffic might be busy. But the accommodation is tucked away in a village near the temple and quiet. Some very nice restaurants nearby.

The property is located near botanical garden and at the end of the main restaurants/hotels area. During the night it was quiet. The garden is lovely specially in spring while fruits are ripen and trees are freshly green. I spent much time there listening to fish and the nine year old turtle. My room is small as I was solo. I have also used the Japanese room for my yoga. They serve nice quality tea and it’s part of the experience to be in the tea capital of south China. I plan to stay there again in my future visit.

The staff and owner were exceedingly helpful with accommodating our breakfast timing requests and breakfast was delicious. They also helped us book transport to Shanghai via a lunch stop Wu Zhen. The room was spacious, clean and modern with an amazing panoramic view of the village and plantation.
