The view was amazing and it makes you feel quite independent, as when you get in, you find a paper with your name and room. It doesn't give the "hostel" feeling. It feels like your own home with friends.

First of all, the price matched the quality, which allowed to accommodate two couples. We enjoyed the sounds of the sea coming from the ocean and the swim at nearby thermal natural pool. Hotel Breidavik is situated in Breiðavík. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, luggage storage space and organising tours for guests. We were hiking over the mountains for four days and came to this unique place by foot. Five stars to the kind italian guy working there that made us feel very welcomed. The place is charming and retro - could be in a David Lynch movie - but in a good way. Fantastic atmosphere at the end of the world. Great soundtrack in the restaurant and the food was good too. The bed was comfortable and the room had a spectacular view to the ocean and the cliffs.
