Great vibes. There was a storm one morning and the person working there set up a projector and played a movie for us to watch. When cooking the people were chatty and I had an excellent time. I walked to and from the airport with ease, also walked to the beach.

The famous Surfers Paradise Beach is just a 5-minute walk away when you stay at Maxmee Resort. The hostel offers free WiFi, a tennis court and an outdoor pool.

The hostel has a perfect location, right in front of the tram, making it easy to get anywhere. It's two blocks from the beach. The facilities are comfortable. The staff was always friendly and helpful, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. They organize activities on the weekends so you can socialize and meet other travelers. The kitchen was fully equipped and clean. I would definitely return. The atmosphere was great and the price was excellent.
