We had an unforgettable stay at Volare. The hotel is very idyllic in a small bay. The houses/rooms are very modern, comfortably furnished and offer a great view of the well-kept garden, the clean and warm pool and the lake. It is wonderful. Sara and her team gave us a very warm welcome and fulfilled our every wish. Camilo in particular is a great guy who we had a lot of fun with!! He picked us up from the marina and from then on brought us to our destinations safely and quickly by boat at any time. The communication in English went smoothly at all times. We can highly recommend Hotel Volare and would love to come back. Next time we will bring more time to take advantage of the many activities on offer, such as water sports or hiking. Many thanks to the Volare team!

The staff were really helpful and friendly, and let us check in much earlier than we were supposed to. The room is nice and good value for what you are paying, and it’s a good location just a short walk from the front and the main square.

Very nice Hotel in a very quite location. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Everything was clean. Nice pool and overall great view prom the hotel property. Big, clean room with good matress and modern bathroom. Fast Wifi in every area of the hotel. Big and delicious breakfast included! 20 Minutes walk from town. There even are some hiking oppurtunities and a waterfall nearby.

This stay was amazing. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the rooms were huge with lots of space and even a curtain with your bed :) It was great for solo travelers as it's very social and easy to meet people in the great roof terrace they have for a common space. What I loved most though, is although it's a very social hostel, it's not a *party* hostel so you can still go to bed whenever you want and not feel like you'll be awake because of any noise. You also receive a welcome shot, and there's a nice happy hour offered each night with a great Thai restaurant to eat at. They also offer an extremely affordable and delicious breakfast each morning as well.

The hostel is near a lake, with lots of greenery around. But it is also only a 10 minute work away from the centre of Guatape. Therefore, I was able to make the best of both the tranquil nature and the city. The hostel staff, and the family associated with the hostel, are all very helpful, kind and warm. The family work hard because they want to create positive experiences for guests, and I believe they succeed in this regard. The hostel has a lovely outdoor yoga area. I used it to do yoga, qigong and meditation. I really appreciated being able to do these exercises while enjoying fresh air and nature at the same time. The hostel has delicious breakfasts. There is also variety with slightly different breakfasts each day. The hostel also provides coffee and tea all day. I appreciated this touch. If I return to Guatape then this hostel will be my first choice.

Our stay was amazing. We really liked the hosts Farid and Juli, they have a friendly and welcoming energy. The location is a little bit out of town and really close to the river which is mainly what we wanted. The Hostel has a very nice terrace to play ping pong, do yoga or just enjoy the view. Very clean, comfortable and quiet.
