As a regular returning guest at Gordon Town Kotch, I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you are looking for an oasis of tranquility away from the bustle of Kingston then this is the place for you. The home is very clean and tidy, I always have a comfortable stay. Mishka and William go above and beyond to help you when they can and are very knowledgeable about Gordon Town and surrounding areas. The location is great; located off the tourist track, Gordon Town is a quieter town near Kingston. There are hikes and walks to do nearby, equally, is a great place if you want a few days to chill and relax.

I felt like home at Ragamuffin hostel. The Ragamuffin team (Ricardo, Anasha and Alex) were very friendly and helpful when need advise or recommendation. The room was clean, mattress was comfy, and there are more privacy on the bed. The hostel is located about 4 minutes from Bob Marley museum. I highly recommend Ragamuffin to anyone looking to stay in Kingston.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travelers know there's no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: Save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a little more.

I'm not usually staying in hostels, but I must say this place is great!! Once you close the curtain, you have a very private space. Each bed has a place where you can charge your electronics as well as a reading lamp. There is a kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. The staff is exceptionally friendly. I also love the coffee shop, which you can enter from the hostel. All in all, I had a great stay. In Kingston, this is by far the best budget option to stay.

The Hostel is very central and cozy. The mixed dorm is spacious, cool and the bunk bed curtains give welcomed sense of privacy. The staff are exceptionally helpful in guiding you on how to get around the island with both local & convenient travel options. They are so warm. Plus the Cafe' next door is pretty convenient too. Love the dream bowls and nyam n scramble wraps. Such a great place to stay and meet like-minded travelers.

Cool hostel, good location in Kingston, New Kingston is quite safe. Comfortable beds and they have a bar if you need to get breakfast though it's not included. Really friendly and helpful staff. We only stayed one night but would stay again. WiFi is good.

Great location (not much to do around the hostel but the area is really safe), great staff, great place to meet other solo travelers, and probably the best dorm you'll ever stay at.
