I extended my 3-night stay by another night here. Honestly, you could easily stay for at least a month. Tasha and Kirsten’s hospitality, the location being a paradise, the wooden house I stayed in, and its incredible comfort all made me feel right at home. The place has a plant-based kitchen, and they’re currently experimenting with new flavors. My favorite was the Scrambled Tofu Wrap! It was amazing—I practically licked my fingers. The bar’s cocktails are also excellent. You can watch the landscape from the bar through the sea and the trees! This is a perfect spot for vegan and vegetarian friends to stay at a very reasonable price while enjoying the peace of the island. There are also some small animal friends like cats and dogs around. In the evenings, there’s even a larger lizard buddy who walks along the upper beams of the bar, looking around. This place is truly wonderful—definitely visit!

Sebastian is a great host, very attentive and knows how to run this place very efficiently… food is amazing, fantastic sunset and views… basic hut accommodation with bean bags and hammocks everywhere, you feel like your cut off from the world… would definitely stay here again!

This was the most amazing place I’ve been to on my travels so far. Koalama felt like home, the place really has a personality and is not just an average hostel. The atmosphere is so nice, with the music changing every day and catching exactly the vibe of the guests. Delicious drinks, fun games, perfect chill out area and most importantly absolutely amazing, likeminded people! Thanks Fred, for making me feel so welcome and creating such a wonderful place. Really nice location on such a beautiful beach with the clearest water I’ve ever seen. Perfect for recharging and relaxing with loads of places to relax. Also lots of games and things to do if you want a more social experience. Can walk to beaches the other side of the island which are equally as beautiful

I loved the open room with all the other guests. It was a nice atmosphere. The walk down to the sea (and also the view) is just amazing. You can rent snorkling gear and you should use it! Nice little restaurant also

It was a very relaxing stay. We really loved Mpai bay and Mr.İhsan and his family really helped us with our trip in the island. The hotel has a garden which is very enjoyable after a day in the beach.

Beautiful pets, beautiful people, beautiful location. Couldn’t have wished for anything better on my first solo trip. They showed sports when people asked but it didn’t make up the whole atmosphere so I could enjoy yoga during the day in peace. Would 100% recommend and will be coming back at the end of my trip

The spot is amazing! Every morning you see the magnificent beach and the staff is very nice an friendly! I met some wonderful travelers and stayed with them for a couple of days. Best Island I stayed at! Enjoy!!
