I stayed here for 4 nights and ı definitely recommend. They helped me about transportation, laundry, trips.. The breakfast was included, ıt was really good and the portions are really big. The owner of the place and especially her wife they’re really friendly. I was not even going out for dinner, ı was eating at the hostel(she cooks). It feels like a homestay. I’m really happy that ı stayed here on my Sigiriya time.

Such a kind and warm welcoming family. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Channa arranged a cooking class for me with a local lady and offered pick up services with his Tuk Tuk. The breakfast made by sister was really good each morning with different traditional Sri Lanka food! Really peaceful place with only a 20min easy stroll to the town. Really loved my time here❤️

Staying at Hello Aliya feels less like a hostel and more like staying at an old friend’s house. The owner Isu is incredibly kind and respectful. The hostel is brand new so everything is incredibly clean. It is situated just off the main road. 2 minute walk to the bus stop, 10 mins walk to the entrance of Lion’s Rock, and a 10 minute drive to Pidurangala peak. I really enjoyed my stay there. As a solo woman, I felt safe and welcomed. The breakfast is lovely and the staff even taught me how to play carrom. After one month of traveling Sri Lanka, this is by far my favorite hostel.

Staying at this hostel was an absolute delight! The place is simply beautiful, with clean dorms and a lovely garden to relax in. The facilities were top-notch, including big comfy beds and hot water for a refreshing shower. The staff were incredibly nice and friendly, always creating good vibes around the place. We went on a safari and saw lots of elephants, thanks to our amazing guide, Maliya. He really helped us have an unforgettable experience. And let's not forget about the rich breakfast and delicious food served here – every bite was a treat. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay!
