The host and location were fantastic, situated right by the entrance to Medaketiya Beach with safe swimming area and close to the stunning Mangrove Beach and national parks. The service was unexpectedly excellent, and the breakfast offered a variety of delicious options for the price. Best lassi in this area.

All! The location, the place is very clean, the staff is super friendly and always willing to help. I was in hour different hostels in Hiriketiya and this is by far the best one.

I liked everything about this hostel! First thing you notice is that it’s very clean! It’s very close to Hiriketya beach and all the good restaurants. It also has a cute cafe with great coffee and food! And the staff? So kind, so helpful! They helped me get to my next destination, arranging tuktuk, explaining.. I can highly highly recommend it!

I had a great stay at this hostel! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the facilities were excellent, and everything was kept very clean. The beds were comfortable and it was a very relaxing place to stay. Definitely good value for money. The location is perfect – right on the main road and only about 600m from beautiful Hiriketiya Beach. Highly recommended!

This is a very chill hostel and it's a little bit outside of the main area, the rooms were nice with AC and the breakfast was great. I really reccomend it

Malinda is a beautiful host and took us to a lovely point to see the sunset. The hostel is 5 mins walk from dikwella and 5 mins walk from hiriketiya beach, but still nice and peaceful. The beds were comfy and everyone had a fan which was lovely. They have a washing machine you can use for 500rupee and a kitchen if you’d like to prepare your own food. We loved this hostel!

The hostel was located in a fantastic spot, the dorms were very comfortable and the staff were amazing. Everyone I met here was awesome, and the hostel itself is very social and everyone I met here was very welcoming. Azza and Rijkje made everyone feel welcome and I was very sad to leave.

Really enjoyable stay. The guys who run it are loads of fun and made my time at chilli croc really comfortable. The food and laughs in the evening were a particular highlight. Would definitely recommend Chilli Croc. Thanks guys ❤️

We LOVED hiricurry - we actually stayed there for a total of 11 nights as we fell in love with Hiriketiya and didn't want to leave! the staff were so accommodating for us. The breakfast was also delicious! And we couldn't have picked a better location, only a 5-10 min walk to the beach, so we could surf everyday! Thank you so much for having us!
