Really an excellent place, great value, friendly and helpful staff, the hostel is located right in the middle of Tamel, wich is the touristic neighborhood of Katmadu, there's a lot of people and stuff going on outside of the hostel, still the place manages to have a peaceful and quiet atmosphere, the restaurant is also really good with high quality options, the guys working at the restaurant are exceptional, I'll come back for sure after my trek

It’s not my first time here and it won’t be my last. “Rest Up” is exactly what this place will enable you to do. Comfy beds, clean and ample washrooms. Very spacious, 2 story chill out area situated at the rooftop of the property; accompanied by scenic, hilltop top views and directly in line with Swoyambhu temple. Minutes from Thamel centre. Relaxed atmosphere, tasty food and beers available but above all it’s the guys that run the place daily that makes this hostel so special. Extremely pleased to be received by the same smiley faces as I was a long time before which for me, speaks for itself. Taxi service, both to and from airport available at reception plus many options for trekking via their partner adventure company.

I stayed in a bunch of hotels and airbnb in Nepal before (mostly Kathmandu) and Napalaya beats all of them head down. The room was squeaky clean and fresh, furniture looked new, functional set up, bathroom absolutely lovely( trust me on that on the strength of my Nepalese experience). Staff friendly, and professional. Had my own balcony on to of that! View wasn’t exactly Pokhara lake but it was quiet as not facing the street— massive bonus!

Excellent place to stay - really great location. The double private room was very spacious and the staff were very welcoming. We weren't able to pay by credit card on their system but they sent the link and that worked well. Would recommend. Note that the hotel asked for a review but I would have given them this rating anyway

The owner Sunny is very nice and helpful! Our room had a private washroom inside the room! The location is great because it is calm and not so crowded. You can go to the center by Taxi (10 min) and by foot (30 min).
