This place is so clean and nice! I had stayed somewhere else and had a hard time so I booked this place and the people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. I got lucky and stayed in the female dorm area and the room was right across the bathroom which was super convenient. The bathroom was amazing and the room I stayed in was very comfortable.

I recently stayed at a charming, family-run hostel located on Hai'an Street in Tainan, and it was an exceptional experience. The hostel's location is ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and an abundance of delicious food options just a short walk away. One of the highlights of my stay was the presence of three lovely cats that added a warm, homely touch to the environment. The hostel itself offers great amenities, including a sundeck, a terrace, and a peaceful courtyard where guests can relax. The dorm rooms are thoughtfully designed with curtains, ensuring privacy for each guest. The owner and her family were incredibly friendly and caring, always ready to share stories, offer suggestions, and make sure guests feel at home. The owner, who is also a knowledgeable indigo dyeing teacher, brought a unique cultural aspect to my stay, making it even more memorable. The hostel also provided tea and coffee-making equipment, along with some snacks prepared by the owner. The tiled floors and tasteful decor complemented the overall cozy atmosphere. The property was clean and safe. The dorms were nice. I liked the design of the rooms. The beds were comfortable with enough space to lay my stuff next to me. The lockers provided were very secure. For my bed, the lockers were large enough to fit a small suitcase comfortably. There were enough outlets by my bed to charge all my devices. The curtain blocked light well.

The staff is approachable and accomodating.Responsive whatever you had question,they're friendly ,the place itself so peaceful,clean room,bathroom and for those who loved nightlife like,going to nightmarket so accessable the staff/owner will recommend where and how to go...food no problem they sell instant noodles and drink inside hostel and you can buy also in the near places

It’s clean, comfy, convenient, great location, quiet, kind staff & owner. Second time here and would highly recommend this place. I love the old building’s features there. Most of the guests are Japanese.
