Somehow I got the room all for myself for 2 whole nights yay me! The room was spacious and eventhough it's near the main street, I could still sleep like a baby during my whole stay. There was a lady staff who went extra mile to ask about my days/trips and even shared info about the place I intended to head to. Also I loved the vibe and design of the hostel, very bohemian-style and gorgeous! Loved the dining area as well. It was a place where I would end my day with a good dinner that I doordashed every night. Very central location and convenient enough for me to catch my super early morning trip to Yosemite and also a BART train to SFO airport. The hostel is also within walking distance from the Powell St. BART station where you can also catch the cable car to Fisherman's Wharf, Lombard Street etcs. You can also see the cable car turnaround near the station. Highly recommended to solo travelers!

Staff has been really cool and helpful all the way through. There is music every night!!! The room was clean and quiet, bathroom facilities were clean. I saw comments about plumbing issues but everything was fine when I stayed here. Would 10/10 recommend :)

Everyone was really friendly, the ballroom was a great space to just hang out, the facilities were good and hassle-free, like laundry. And they even had a sauna!
