Set in Interlaken, 19 km from Grindelwald Terminal, Chalet Hostel @ Backpackers Villa Interlaken offers accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The property is 80 metres from the city centre and 21 km from Giessbachfälle. Pretty much the ideal hostel experience. The rooms were nice, with comfortable mattresses, made bedding, and a sink and mirror in the room. A European and a Swiss style outlet at the bed, a good shelf, and an adjustable reading light. Tons of very nice common spaces, including a well-equipped and huge kitchen area. Breakfast was simple (bread, yogurt, cereal, coffee, and juice) but high quality including locally baked fresh bread. The shower rooms were large and had lots of hooks and dry space to put your things. The staff were friendly and accommodating and everything was always clean. The building itself is cool too.

At the hostel, each room is fitted with a desk and a balcony with a garden view. Featuring a shared bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Walters Hostel Interlaken also offer a mountain view. Guest rooms include a safety deposit box. The room was huge and comfortable with smart appliances, the breakfast for 8 CHF was a feast and it was walking distance from Interlaken Ost Bahnhof. Thank you Marcel 😊

The property is allergy-free and is set 23 km from Giessbachfälle. -We were 5 and we had the whole room to our own. -It was very comfortable even though it was a couchete -The view was spectacular -You could grab a cup of tea and just sit in the common area (where breakfast was served), talk with others or just sit and enjoy this cozy place. -The breakfast had a good range of options

The apartment is located in a rustic chalet building behind the lodge and is perfect for families with up to 6 people. Everything at the property is perfect. Location is excellent for tourists. Clean and well maintained.

The staff were always kind and helpful. They give you a Guest Card, which is super useful for getting around Interlaken. The train station is just a short walk away, and everything else, shops, restaurants, and a beautiful river is nearby. The views from the hostel are stunning. Definitely a place I’d love to visit again.

They were even ride to provide us a drive when the bus to interlaken got cancelled and we were to miss our paragliding slot. Breakfast is the best. The property is non-smoking and is located 37 km from Grindelwald Terminal. The hostel is right on the lake and offers the most incredible views! It’s just a 10 min walk or 2 min bus ride to the train station and a 20 min train ride to Interlaken which was perfect. I was glad to be away from the tourists downtown. Everything is updated since it’s a newer hostel and the breakfast was absolutely incredible! Sara made us feel so welcome and helped accommodate any requests. Highly recommend staying here!

In winter, a shuttle service to the surrounding ski areas is provided. Free WiFi is available in all areas of the hostel. Location is ok and rooms are also good and clean with kitchen facilities. Staff is cooperative and helpful. Good place with reasonable prices.
