At the hostel, all rooms have air conditioning and a shared bathroom. this is one of my favorite hostels i've ever stayed at! such a unique place to stay with the shipping containers! the beds are comfortable and have outlets nearby which is so nice!! the place was so peaceful and the staff put on a fire every night! the owner, mick, could not have been nicer or more helpful! he helped me organize water taxis and understand the tide times every day when planning my route for the abel tasman coast track. he also helped me organize last minute transportation back the nelson which was a god send. the kitchen and all facilities were so clean and there were so many amenities!

All rooms in the hostel are fitted with a coffee machine. Berlins cafe, bar and backpackers features some units that have mountain views, and the rooms have a shared bathroom with a shower. All guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. We were served by two men who were super friendly and attentive at all times. The room was super clean. They gave us two towels, soap, and everything was super nice. 100% recommended.

Guests at the hostel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Murchison, like hiking, fishing and cycling. The Cow Shed served great food - so friendly! The room had an en-suite - so convenient! The owners were wonderful - and the cat was so sweet!

Kanuka Ridge Lodge " and Backpackers " We had a double bed cabin which had a lovely outside deck overlooking the forest. Everything was very clean and the kitchen facility was very good

The hostel is just 180 metres from the Abel Tasman Glow Worms. Motueka is 13 km from the property. Quiet, cosy rooms! The living and cooking spaces are the best I’ve seen out of all of those in the South Island! Staff were amazingly helpful and nice!
