Combining a fantastic city fringe address with gorgeous contemporary living areas, this family home provides a modern-day retreat with the best of Adelaide at your fingertips. The property is staged over two levels with multiple spaces for adults and kids to spread out. Entering on the ground floor, the living and dining area flows to the backyard creating a lovely transition between the indoors and out. Cook up a feast on the BBQ and dine alfresco or make use of the gourmet kitchen coming together around a large central dining table. There’s plush sofa seating to relax after a busy day and a second TV area upstairs. Family-friendly amenities are included throughout including a travel cot, kids’ table, books and toys. The queen-sized master bedroom enjoys privacy on the ground floor with a walk-in wardrobe and high-end ensuite bathroom. Heading upstairs you’ll find the remaining two bedrooms, one with a queen and the other with two king single beds. These share the stunning main bathroom, comprising both a bathtub and shower. Central air-conditioning and heating throughout keep things comfortable no matter what season you are travelling in. Guests will also have access to an internal laundry with a washing machine and dryer. Parking is provided in the undercover garage and driveway, and there is free street parking. The BBQ must be restored to the condition it was in when you arrived; otherwise, an additional charge of AUD60 will apply after check-out.

Neighbourhood information

The popular city-fringe suburb of Brompton sits just 15 minutes’ drive from Adelaide’s CBD and is home to some lovely leafy playgrounds and gorgeous character homes. It neighbours the trendy hub of Bowden, and is close to Adelaide’s entertainment precincts in Hindmarsh, as well as Adelaide Oval, Adelaide Zoo and Adelaide Central Market. Start the day at Seven Grounds, serving specialty coffee and delicious fusion brunches, and don’t miss Plant 4 Bowden, for its weekend markets, eateries and retail. Public buses from Brompton will take you straight into the city centre.
