Company information
After living in London for many years, we decided to move to Melbourne for a lifestyle change. And then, after just 2 years in the city, we decided on a tree change in the Daylesford/Hepburn Springs area, as we had holidayed here previously and fell in love with it, as it has both European and Australian characteristics and charms. I run the holiday let businesses with the help of my partner Andrew. I am more hands-on with cleaning and preparing our cottages for guests and making sure everything is to their liking. Andrew is more behind the scenes, ensuring our reservations system and other IT systems and facilities are working well. We make a great team and love welcoming new and returning guests to experience our cottages and all that the beautiful Daylesford/Hepburn Springs region has to offer.
Property information
Elroma is a striking double-fronted 1910 Federation-style house with elevated views of Hepburn Regional Park. It has undergone comprehensive improvements and upgrades by its current owners, Anthony and Andrew, while it was their home from 2018 to 2022.
With soaring ceilings throughout, Elroma has a grand yet welcoming feeling as soon as you enter the hallway. Straight ahead down the corridor you can see out through the huge kitchen window across to the forested slopes of Hepburn Regional Park.
To the left, the large lounge and dining room features the original stained glass in the bay window and a convenient inset woodburner with carved Art Nouveau surround. (About 15kg of firewood is supplied.) Free Wifi is provided and the very large TV includes the Netflix and Stan streaming services.
To the right is the first bedroom (with en suite and spacious shower, and a queen-size bed), which also benefits from original stained-glass windows. The second bedroom also has a queen-size bed. Both of these bedrooms have ample built-in wardrobe space with sliding mirrored doors. The north-facing third bedroom has yet another queen-size bed.
Further down the corridor is the bright family bathroom, with a large two-person spa bath under the generous skylight and a compact shower.
To the rear, the modern kitchen features entrancing views out of its floor-to-ceiling picture window. The breakfast bar by the window can comfortably seat four people around it.
French doors lead out of the kitchen to the large rear balcony deck, again with sweeping views over the forests and valley of Spring Creek in Hepburn Regional Park. Steps lead down from the deck to the private and secure rear garden.
The house benefits from a very effective modern ducted underfloor air conditioning system.

Neighbourhood information
Elroma is located in the lovely town of Hepburn Springs. Just a short stroll down the hill is Hepburn village, where you can find cafes, pub and a range of restaurants, including fine dining options, that use fresh local produce to create mouth-watering dishes. Catch a show at the recently refurbished Palais Theatre, or just enjoy a cocktail at their sumptuous art deco bar. The famous Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa is also nearby, where you can swim in the hot mineral water pools or indulge in a range of relaxing and rejuvenating spa and wellness treatments. After the Bathhouse, continue into the Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve to sample some of the many mineral springs dotted around the valley (take a couple of bottles along to fill up – our favourites are Locarno Spring and Soda Spring, which are both great as mixers with cordials). On the other side of the valley, a short drive through the forests of Hepburn Regional Park, is The Chocolate Mill, where you can enjoy their luxury products made from Belgian Fair Trade couverture chocolate. The wider Daylesford/Hepburn Springs area features many excellent wineries and local farmers’ and antiques markets for you to explore.
