About this property

Located on the beachfront at Horseshoe Bay Beach on Magnetic Island, Sunsets Resort offers rooms with ocean views from your balcony. The property features an outdoor swimming pool, free parking and free DVD hire. Magnetic Sunsets Resort is a 13-minute drive from Magnetic Island Golf Course and a 10-minute drive from Nelly Bay Harbour and Magnetic Island Marina. Bookings for the ferry terminal can be made by the hotel front desk. All rooms feature balconies with ocean views and feature fully equipped kitchens and laundry facilities. A flat-screen TV and DVD player are standard in each room. The tour desk can arrange a variety of activities, including tours of Magnetic Island, The Great Barrier Reef, jet-ski tours and fishing trips. Horseshoe Bay has 3 kilometers of beach is the water sports & restaurant hub of Magnetic Island. The area is safe for swimming with a swimming enclosure and life guard in attendance 7 days a week. Great family environment with playgrounds & BBQ's for public use on the beachfront. If you like walking there are great walking tracks through the National Park & sighting native animals & birds such as Koalas in the wild on the Forts walk. Magnetic Island hosts an annual Yacht race in September, Mountain Bike races and Endurance challenges.
