-A 6min walk down to the beach to take in the stunning views of the motu (small islands) surrounding the Cook Islands with the warm sun on your skin, and a gentle tropical breeze rustling your hair and enjoy the view of the turquoise lagoon stretching out before you. -The village has a long history, including being the site of the original settlement and the first church built in 1888, known as Silo 1. -You can drive directly through a natural arch formed by large Banyan tree arching over the road creating a picturesque canopy that has become a popular photo stop for visitors exploring the island. -A 5min drive to the Locally Owned Popular Avatea Cafe or Manuia's Kitchen. -
