Hi! My name is Amy. I’ve been wandering around the world for a while, discovering different places to call home. Originally I’m from NY, I’ve also lived in New Orleans, San Francisco, and South Africa. I loved them all, and did a whole lot of traveling in between. Now I’m excited to call Costa Rica my home! The Caribbean coast is an amazing place. I love where I live and I’m so happy to be able to share it with so many fun people from around the world! I live in a separate house on the same property with my dogs and my cat. We are all friendly and I'm always around to answer questions or help out! I truly enjoy seeing my guests happy and having a good time in my home. It is my goal for you to feel comfortable, and most importantly, for you to feel like you have a friend to take care of you in Costa Rica. Come enjoy our jungle home!

Our aim at Hidden Jungle Beach House is to provide a personalized guest experience, tell us what kind of trip you want to have and we will help you get there! Puerto Viejo has something for everyone and we want you to feel like you have a real home in the jungle. You will have access to a full kitchen. We are always around to answer questions and make sure you're having fun. Our jungle oasis is one minute away from a stunning black sand beach, and a five minute walk from the restaurant and shops of Puerto Viejo. You can find sloths and monkeys in the trees surrounding our property, and blue morpho butterflies dancing in the air as you relax in one of our hammocks. There's a lot to see, so come on down! We are looking forward to hosting you!

Neighbourhood information

If you like the tranquility of nature, but also like the activity of a charming little beach town, then you will agree that we have the best location around. We are tucked away in the jungle, but only a minute away from a gorgeous black sand beach and five minutes walk from the town of Puerto Viejo, where you will find plenty of great restaurants and shops to keep you busy. You can listen to live reggae and calypso music almost every night. The people in town are warm and friendly. Here at our place you can simply read in a hammock and enjoy some downtime, or you can swim, snorkel, dive, ride horses, kayak, zip-line, hike, learn how chocolate is made, go rafting and much, much more. Everything is right here waiting for you!
