Welcome to the U Hlaváčů guesthouse, located in the attic of a historic house in the picturesque location of Horní Maršov, right on the border of the Krkonoše National Park. The winter months offer a choice between two top resorts. Janské Lázně with the ski resort on Černá hora and Pec pod Sněžkou. Both are 7km away and are combined into one resort called Skiresort ČERNÁ HORA - PEC. It offers 40.2km of slopes and 84km of groomed cross-country trails. A free ski bus is a matter of course (approx. 5min. from the guesthouse). You can reach both resorts in 10 minutes and the cross-country trails start directly in Horní Maršov. For the little ones, there are sledding hills all around the guesthouse. Other resorts in the area are; Velká Úpa (7 km), Malá Úpa (12 km), Mladé Buky (8 km), Černý Důl (14 km). In the warmer months, the area invites cycling, hiking, and peaceful walks around the area with mushroom and forest fruit picking. Nearby is a swimming pool (Janské Lázně, Pec, or Trutnov), Relax Park in Pec pod Sněžkou, Rope Centers in Pec and Janské Lázně, Bobsleigh in Pec and Mladé Bukách or Stachelberg - artillery fortress (15km). Trips will take you to Pec pod Sněžkou, as well as to Černá hora, Pomezní Boudy, Růžová hora and Sněžka or the ZOO - Dvůr Králové nad Labem 35 km.
