Set on the foothills of the Kaiserstuhl Mountains, this family-run hotel is centrally located in the wine-growing town of Gottenheim. It offers free Wi-Fi access, and Gottenheim Train Station is a 5-minute walk away. Decorated in peaceful colours, rooms at the Landhotel Restaurant zur Krone feature soft lighting and satellite TV. All rooms have a private bathroom with free toiletries. Each morning a buffet breakfast is served in Zur Krone's welcoming restaurant. Guests can also sample traditional German meals prepared with locally sourced produce. Hikers and cyclist can take a tour through the Kaiserstuhl mountain range, which is 9 km from the hotel. Zur Krone’s large garden terrace is an ideal place to relax during fine weather. Guests benefit from a Konus Guest Card which offers free use of public transport in and around Freiburg.
