Las Canteras is one of the most popular neighbourhoods that make up the Puerto-Canteras district of Las Palmas. The surrounding area offers a wide variety of restaurants, supermarkets and areas of interest, such as the Plazoleta de Farray, the Parque de Santa Catalina with the Elder Museum and the Aquarium "Poema de Mar". It is a lively, young and rapidly changing neighbourhood. It has one of the best urban beaches in the Canary Islands, bus station, Santa Catalina Park and much more.
