The Townhouse is situated at the centre of Andalucia's 'Golden Triangle' in the picturesque white 'pueblo' hilltop village of Iznájar (ranked by Condé Nast Traveler magazine as..."one of the most beautiful villages in Spain", and in 2017 by the UK's The Guardian newspaper as one of the "10 Best Lakeside Towns and Villages in Europe") at the gateway to the Subbética National Park. It is literally just one hour's drive north of Malaga, located in prime position, almost equidistant from the glorious, historic sightseeing cities of Seville, Malaga, Granada and Córdoba, on the banks of the beautiful, cobalt-blue Lake Iznájar, the largest inland stretch of water in Andalucia. Whether you are looking for a holiday home for a week or a long-weekend, or are simply looking for two or three days while you tour Andalucia, you will find The Townhouse, Iznájar, is your home-away-from-home. THE TOWNHOUSE IS SITUATED AT THE TOP OF A HILL, AND IS NOT SUITABLE FOR WHEELCHAIRS.
We retired early with a view to escaping to Spain. Been enjoying life, the sun, and writing almost everyday ever since!
The Townhouse, Iznájar, is in a very privileged position close to a range of activities and interesting places to visit. From the lakeside beach and natural parks to cultural and historical sites, the area has something for everyone. Within easy reach of The Townhouse you will find the UNESCO World Heritage Sites at Granada, Córdoba and Antequera. You can have wonderful day trips visiting the beautiful Andalusian cities and towns of Sevilla, Ronda, Baeza and Úbeda which are a little further away.
