About this property
A family owned and run former coaching Inn offering elegant rooms and high-quality dining. The Maypole at Wellow is the closest Hotel to the National Grid Training Center at Eakring, Center Parcs Head Office and Murphy's Construction, it lies just a 12 mile drive from Newark and is around 20 miles North of Nottingham and only 40 minutes drive from the historic city of Lincoln. The South Yorkshire city of Sheffield is only 30 miles away. The hotel has free parking with FREE EV charging points. Open a full seven days a week and serving a range of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, all freshly prepared in the Maypole restaurant, complemented by a selection of first-class wines. The relaxing bar offers draught lagers, beers and cocktails and has an outdoor terrace with dining area. There is free wi-fi throughout the hotel with each room having a flat-screen TV, with a desk, tea and coffee facilities. All rooms have an en-suite shower with a hairdryer and toiletries and some deluxe rooms also have a bath. We have dog friendly rooms, but also dog free rooms. There is a £10 per dog charge upon check in.
