I love living in the countryside and the country lifestyle. I consider the place I live as a little piece of heaven, I am very lucky to live here and enjoy everything and the challenges it brings with it. My family are my passion and my life. Not far behind are my animals, I have always been involved with animals. I train and compete Border Collie sheepdogs . I love meeting people, all with a different story and personalities that makes up the world.

Property information

This charming farmhouse nestles within its own secret valley, Walls Clough, in the hills of Rossendale. Peaceful and tranquil with miles of public rights of way on the doorstep, it's a great place to enjoy the outdoors, unwind and relax. Guests are welcome to enjoy the spacious garden and patio with panoramic views and garden furniture. A serene location, a genuine Lancashire gem. I try to greet guests personally although a key lock is located outside the door. Guests are welcome to leave outdoor clothing and footwear in the entrance hall. Just a step outside is the tranquil conservatory with a dining area and sofa which is ideal to relax in and absorb the unbelievable views. Tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, microwave, crockery and silverware are available for guests in the breakfast room. Guests are welcome to bring their own food to or order in a take away and use the dining area in the breakfast room or conservatory. The property has picnic benches and garden furniture for all guest use.

Neighbourhood information

Higher Walls Cottage resides in a quiet idyll, surrounded by farmland and moorland. A network of footpaths and bridleways are on the doorstep, ideal for walking and cycling. Weekend walking tours can be arranged, please enquire. Within an hours drive are the cultural hotspots of Hebden Bridge, Howarth and Ramsbottom. The market town of Rawtenstall is 4 miles away with a wealth of boutique shops, wine bars and amazing food. Whilst the diversity that the city of Manchester offers is within a 40 minute drive. Rossendale is a genuine Lancashire town crammed with history and activity.
