Nestled in the heart of the Wicklow countryside, surrounded by a young wild meadow, our Dream Huts are a bespoke double shepherds hut build designed and built by their owners. Quite simply the Huts' mission is to provide a unique experience for anyone looking to escape from the city, walk the Wicklow hills or to act as a luxurious base from which to experience the outdoors or a wedding in a relaxed and completely private environment. You will not believe you are in a hut in nature. Accommodating two people, our Huts provide a cosy and intimate space all year-round which includes a full-size kitchen, radiant underfloor heating throughout, including a large shower wetroom with rainfall shower and views of the nearby tree canopy, and a wood burning stove for warming yourself after a day spent in the glorious countryside. The Huts also feature an eclectic mix of salvaged vintage finds contrasting with smart lighting and heating technology throughout combined with comprehensive WiFi allowing guests to stay connected if necessary or simply unwind watching movies or listening to their favourite tunes. the Huts also offer a complementary dedicated EV charge point (3 pin). The entire property and its environs are available to our guests which is set within its own private space, accessed via its own gravel driveway, and includes ample parking, a fairy-lit outdoor eating area, recliners for when the sun shines & a covered BBQ area - surrounded by mature trees.

We are an active family enjoying all the beautiful views and pursuits that Wicklow or The Garden of Ireland has to offer. We are also passionate about food and relaxed entertaining and this is reflected in the design of our Dream Huts - a two year project, from design to self-build, to offer a unique experience in switching off in luxury within nature or as our tagline suggests: Escape. Wicklow Town is 5km away with plenty of Pubs and Restaurants ,or sample our gorgeous coffee shops while you peruse Wicklow's award winning local Book store , purchase fine wine from The Wicklow Wine Shop or go antique hunting in the local brocante shop. The Devils Glen Wood are also nearby whilst 30 minutes drive will get you to Glendalough and its surrounding natural beauty and famous eateries for sustenance afterwards. Hunters Hotel in Ashford or Tinakilly Country House Hotel in Rathnew are mere minutes away for afternoon tea, pre-dinner drinks and classic country dining at its finest.
