Hi, my name is Mark and I'm the owner at Safe Haven. I have been welcoming guests for over 10 years, and take great pride in what I do! My personal style is contemporary, which features throughout the house and beyond. The property typically functions as a B&B mid-week, and full house serviced rental for weekends and holiday times. The guest rooms are luxurious, with modern furniture and thoughtful touches throughout. For guests unfamiliar with the area, I'm more than happy to provide information about the best local restaurants, tours and trails. I look forward to welcoming you very soon indeed. 😁😁

Property information

The property is situated on an elevated site high in the Cooley Mountain, overlooking mountains, forests and bay views. It is a modern building, decorated in a contemporary style with Boutique style features such as solid wood floors, open fireplaces, wall coverings, lamps and mirrors. The guest bedrooms are furnished to a high standard, including comfortable beds and bedding, tv's, and high speed internet access. There is a hot beverage dispenser in each room. Iron & Ironing boards and hair dryers also feature. We are Pet friendly too! Please note that the venue is set in a small residential area. As such, it is not suitable for hen, stag and/ or loud group gatherings. Thank you for your understanding. 🙏

Neighbourhood information

Set in the beautiful Cooley Mountains, Safe Haven functions as a B&B mid week, and privately hosted accommodation at weekends and holiday times. Situated on an elevated site and enjoying splendid Mountain, Forest and Sea Views, the house is furnished in modern, contemporary style. Furnishings are to a high standard, and suit both cosy get togethers and family celebrations. The Cooley peninsula is an outdoor pursuits haven, with lots of beautiful walks, trails and areas of historical interest. Local restaurants include 'The Carlingford Brewing Company' (5 min drive) for quality pizza and beer, and 'Fitzpatricks' (10 min drive) for more traditional fare. The medieval village of Carlingford and its many ancient castles, churches, traditional pubs, restaurants and water activities is 15 minutes drive away. Please note that the venue is set in a small residential area. As such, it is not suitable for hen, stag and loud group gatherings. Thank you for your understanding. 🙏
