The city of Arad is located 25 km west of the Dead Sea. Arad is also the closest town on the way to Masada (22 km by road). There are many places for walking and cycling in the area around Arad. Also 63 km from Arad is the reserve and national park Ein Gedi, which is located in the Judean Desert, on the Tel Goren hill, in close proximity to the Nahal David gorge. 8 km from Arad on the way to Massada is the Bedouin village of Kfar Nokdim - a green oasis in the shade of date palms and biblical plants. Tel Arad National Park is located 7 km from Arad. Jeep rides.
