We are busy, busy, busy but what we love to do when we take vacation is travelling abroad or in our own country.

Property information

We like to give our guests the feeling of a home away from home. You will wake up every morning to the smell of freshly baked bread and coffee made specially for you. We do not live at the property but we make it look as much a home as possible and we try to be here as much as we can to be able to serve our guests as best we can. This old house has thick walls and a story to tell, being built around the time when Iceland first got it's independence from Denmark. We like to decorate our house with art and we have for example started to put pictures by Icelandic painters in our rooms and around the house.

Neighbourhood information

We are located in a residential area, but at the end of it and only about 15 min walk to the City Center, where you can find all kinds of restaurants and shops. We have a park only 3 min away, where you can run, take your kids to the playground or just stroll around and visit Kjarvalsstaðir art museum. Kringlan Shopping Mall is 20 min walk and Perlan (the Pearl) 15 min. If you just want to go with your friends and have a beer or two or a glass of wine, we will tell you the neighborhood secret :-)
