Our place is a small, family-run villa located in a quiet tranquil perch situated between eastern and western beaches. It is nestled among swaying palms and tropical flowers, away from the main road and the hustle and bustle of town. It is only a two-minute ride from Mirissa main beach and many restaurants and famous beaches. Our home has its own private beach at its doorstep, looking west with incredible sunset views and its very own natural tidal bathing pool (also a great surf spot for semi-experienced surfers). It is only ten minutes on foot from all the main attractions of Mirissa, including: restaurants, famous beaches, temples, coves for snorkelling and famous surf spots. You’ll love our place because it is ideally situated between eastern and western beaches (respectively Midigama, Welligama and Polhena). Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers/backpackers, and families (with kids). As we are local to this area, we have many friendly contacts in the community for those seeking extra activities -- whale watching, scuba diving, surfing, safari adventures, wild hikes, cultural visits.

The breeze Mirissa. Our home is located in Thalaramba,Mirissa Southern Province, Sri Lanka. We are situated in one of the only remaining quiet neighbourhoods along the coast. Our place is a traditional-style Sri Lankan home. It is gated with an interior garden. The gate at the back of the property leads directly to the sandy beach with natural tidal pools, a surf break and a beach for dipping. There is rich wildlife around our home with many species of birds, brightly coloured fish and sea turtles to enjoy. Getting around You can easily get to us from Colombo Fort or from Matara by train or highway bus (the main train stop near our home is Kamburugmuwa) — from Kamburugmuwa or Matara it is less than ten minutes by Tuktuk or local bus. We are well positioned between eastern and western beaches (respectively Midigama, Welligama and Polhena). It is also very easy to get around and to see the sights of Mirissa on foot — only a ten minute walk to restaurants, ocean-side bars, cafes and shops.
