Al Marqab means 'boat' in Arabic. It is a traditional Moroccan house decorated in 'riad' style. It is located in the Riad Zitoun Jedid, which is the most appreciated part of the Medina of Marrakech (the authentic old city). Founded by Vizier Ba Ahmad, who was the tutor of Sultan Moulay Abdelaziz, who was twelve years old, and the builder of the Bahia Palace as his personal residence. Al Marqab is in the front of the house, completely private, with a separate terrace, entrance, kitchen, and toilets. Traditional design, beautifully decorated, very well equipped, and very comfortable. The spacious apartment sleeps up to four people and is suitable for couples, families, and friends. A private terrace is a must to enjoy the sunrise and sunset with captivating open views over the Medina and the snow-capped Atlas Mountains behind.
