Lovely, comfortable, quiet and fully stocked and equipped house right on the Salmon River in Welches OR. A great place to get away any season and relax and take it easy, or head out a short distance to hiking, fishing, skiing, sledding or more! Guests love our house for it's comfort and awesome setting. 2 QUEEN Beds plus a set of bunks. STR# STR-476-13
Born & raised in OR but retired to AL to be near grand-kids. Grew up going to Mt Hood and Welches area my whole life. It has stayed much the same which is a blessing. Near enough to town but a world away from the rat race. Love to go there as often as we can and glad to be able to share it. We're available as needed by phone or email with questions.
Great location near golf, hiking, fishing, rafting, skiing, you name it. But many guests just love hanging out on the deck and relaxing while listening to the river. Or cozying up with a book by the wood stove. Grocery and liquor store 1 mile away; nice places to eat within 2-3 miles. Hiking is minutes away; golf is right across the street. Skiing and sledding is 40 min away.
