About this property
Nestled on a hilltop overlooking the Zuurberg Mountains, this working citrus farm offers self-catering cottages and chalets. It is 3.1 mi from the Addo Elephant National Park. Thatched roofs and an elevated wooden deck provide an African feel to the private wooden cottage. Each is equipped with a refrigerator, open-air shower and flushable toilet. Guests can prepare meals on their own braai. The elegantly decorated chalets are air conditioned and offer a private bathroom. Each features a traditional Lapa with porcupine quill lamp shades. Addo Dung Beetle Guest Farm features a garden with natural splash pool. Guests can enjoy a full English breakfast daily and the Dung Beetles’ bar serves a wide range of drinks from 12:00 pm until 19:00 pm. Dinners – We do NOT offer dinners at our guest farm and will thus provide a detailed list of restaurants in our area which guests can visit while staying with us – kindly email us @ bookings@addodungbeetle.co.za for recommendations of the restaurants in the area. Port Elisabeth is 40 mi from the hotel and Indian Ocean beaches are just a 45-minute drive away. Addo Guest Farm offers free private parking for all the in-house guests.
