Transformed into a guest house in the early 2000s, Maison Chablis Guest House has been welcoming travellers to the picturesque town of Franschhoek for almost two decades. In an effortless cultural fusion, which combines Georgian-style architecture, English country garden landscaping and classic French décor, Maison Chablis Guest House provides a home-away-from-home retreat that is quintessentially Franschhoek. The four-star guest house is less than 200m from bustling Huguenot Street, offering easy accessibility to town and the Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl wine routes. Eight individually decorated rooms combine vintage elegance with modern comfort. Guests can also unwind in the secluded garden surrounded by ancient oak trees and a sparkling blue swimming pool.
Franschhoek is full of activities! It has an abundance of art galleries, the BEST restaurants, a charming village to explore, quaint coffee shops, museums, and there are some AMAZING wine estates to visit that could fill up several days of your precious time.
