We have tried to build the kind of place we look for ourselves .... private space ... homely with a good kitchen as we enjoy cooking for ourselves while travelling. We have also just installed a solar powered back-up electrical system in the event of mains power failure. This system will operate the fridge, TV, ceiling fans and lights in the cottage for up to 10 hours! Above all we want to to Make Memories!
I fly Hot Air Balloons locally and help Leonora run our steel merchant business ... we enjoy meeting people and encouraging them to enjoy our area.
We are close to both the Blyde River Canyon, world famous Panorama route and of course the Kruger National Park. Our position allows for easy day visits to all these places. There are boat trips on the Blyde Dam, visits to various animal rehabilitation centres available as well.
