Neighborhood info

Warrens Guest House is situated in a very quite and safe neighborhood. We are less than 1 km from the centre of the Village so it is an easy walk to Shops and Restaurants. The Shongweni Club is a world class Equestrian Facility. Every weekend you can watch Show Jumping and Dressage. Most Sundays there is a band playing and the view over the arenas is stunning. Also close in the area is the World Class Shongweni Farmers Market, which is a MUST if you are in the area on a Saturday or over Christmas or Easter. The Summerveld Race Horse Training Centre is also a delight to visit. You can watch over 2 000 horses training each morning from early Sunrise and do so whilst enjoying a fulfilling breakfast in the Club House and soak in the wonderful atmosphere. Krantzkloof Nature Reserve is a short drive and has a variety of fabulous hikes through the Gorge. If you are not into hiking, pack a picnic basket and enjoy the shady and peaceful surrounds. Phezulu Safari Park is also a short drive away and there you can visit the Crocodile Park, have a Guided Tour through the Game Reserve and also enjoy the Traditional Dancing. Sandy runs the quality Tourist Shop and will help you with your bright personality and engaging smile! The Chefs School is a stones throw away from Phezulu. Pop in and enjoy their Micro Brewery and lovely cuisine prepared by the Chefs of the Future. For those interested in Shopping we have a good selection of shops in the centre of Hillcrest, and a short drive away there is the Watercrest Mall which has a number of Branded Stores. There is a very good and large selection of Restaurants and Coffee Shops in the area. The Award Winning Hey Judes Antique Barn is a blast from the past with a good variety from Yesty Yer . Bonna Terra Coffee Shop is a delightful experience and your can do your garden and antique shopping at the same time. The stunning Hillcrest Private Hospital is a few minutes drive away.
