The staff is extremely friendly - everyone greeted us or even did some small talk. From the cleaning staff up to the manager. The gym and spa area is very clean and well equipped incl a great view to the mountains. As, I am pregnant, I was amazed how well the kitchen was prepared for that. I did not have to worry about eating anything which could harm my baby.

This hotel is located in the town of Schwangau, just a short distance from the cable car and Neuschwanstein Castle, about a 30-minute walk away. There’s a beer garden next door, and across the street, you’ll find a supermarket and a post office. Behind the hotel, there’s also a visitor center where travelers can get all kinds of information. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly! They even lent me a pair of scissors so I could cut the tags off my newly purchased dirndl and wear it the next day. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay close to Neuschwanstein Castle while experiencing authentic Bavarian village life. This hotel is absolutely wonderful—I’ve already started planning my next trip to come back here!

It is a slightly quirky yet very comfy hotel. The rooms are large and well equipped. The beds are super comfy and we slept beautifully! The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good with an excellent range of options including for my vegan wife and sister in law.
