Fantastic little stop off along the nc500. Has everything you need in a quiet location with great views towards Sulivean on a private little veranda. Hot tub was an added bonus

The apartment is well equipped and quite comfortable. The jacuzzi was an added bonus. The owner provided excellent information prior to arriving at the site. Everything we could have probably had questions about were provided ahead of time. In actuality, the pod was much more luxurious than we expected and we greatly enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect if you are visiting the west coast of Scotland.

This place was amazing! Both Ballal and Robin were friending, welcoming and very helpful. The room included a sitting room, king size bed and a stunning bathroom with marble counter tops. It was easy to walk into town for meals there are several walking paths that leave right from the B&B.

It was very secluded with a beautiful view of the ocean, but still near the town of Lochinver. It was clean and very cozy! Fully equiped kitchen and even some TV streaming services available. We will definitely come back!

The cabin has everything you could think of to make your stay comfortable. It’s so homely you don’t want to leave to go exploring! The bed is super comfortable and all the little touches just make it. We will be bad soon for another stay. We travelled up in stormy weather and the hot tub was just what was needed after a long drive!!

Another perfect 10 for this place. Hopefully it will be free next time I am planning to visit. ;-) I booked the house because of its view, the fireplace, the hot tub (with a view) and because the price was within my range. But what I got was much more than that. I instantly felt at home, even though I traveled alone, I never felt unsafe. Easy check-in, hot tub was already on a nice temperature. and the VIEW: my phone is full of pictures with changing light and every 5 minutes my favorite motive - Suilvan - seemed to look different. There were 3 bedrooms, I took the one facing to Suilven and in the morning, with open curtains, you feel like he watches you over. Kitchen is perfectly equipped to cook everything you like. Welcome pack with sweets and marmalade as well as breakfast tea, which I enjoyed next to the fireplace snuggled in the chair and enjoying the view, sometimes even deer coming up to the house. Everyday I struggled getting out of the house, because it was so cosy but the weather was that good that I needed to get out and explored the surroundings. Because of off-season I did not meet one hiker on the way to Achmelvich, but this was high season for me. I strongly recommend getting there in autumn, because of the colours. When you travel from Edinburgh airport directly to Waterloo House you would need 5 hours (according to google maps), but with all the nice views it took me 8 to get to Lochinver, and 7 to go back (almost same route). But it is all worth it! Surely coming back.

Stac Polly is a stunning house, equipped with everything you could wish for. All the furnishings are of high quality and in excellent condition, sumptuous sofas and comfortable beds. The sauna and hot tub are perfect for weary legs. We loved the house and the area and didn’t want to leave!
