Very old, but fantastically preserved historic property. Amazing staff. Breakfasts by Mary (especially the quiche) were fantastic. Matteo, the host, was amazing and was on hand to answer any questions, no matter what time of the day! Central location beside the square.

The most amazing and enchanting property. We absolutely loved it our stay at Castello Del Nero. This is definitely a five star experience. The staff are incredible and their attention to their guests is quite unbelievable. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt like we were staying in a guest house. The food was also amazing!

This place is everything you are looking for in Tuscany. Location is perfect for those looking for peaceful vacation, but that is also close enough to everything to go sightseeing. Staff was very nice, kind and friendly, they also helped us find nearby restaurants and places to visit. Environment and pool is amazing, everything is very tidy and rooms are very clean. We loved everything about this property. It is just like the pictures, beautiful and spacious with stunning outdoor areas. A quick 5-10 min drive to Certaldo where we caught 1hr trains to both Florence and Pisa. Also very close to San Gimignano and Volterra (which was our favourite). We stayed in the 3 level apartment (with hot tub on the top level), which we highly recommend! Our host, Andrea, met us at the property and was very kind and helpful! Thanks again for everything, what a beautiful place to stay and enjoy the countryside. - Katie & Rick
